Igoda is a black women owned business that aims to provide economic empowerment to women, youth and marginalised smalll businesses by providing an online platform that will sell products manufactured in Sourth Africa both by Igoda and other dressmakers as well as crafters to local and international markets.Currently the Company mainly operates inb KwaZulu/Natal and Gauteng with a plan to extend to other provinces. University and Design Students sell their designs to the sister company that manufactures the dresses that Igoda sell.Women cooperatives from rural Kzn are the dressmakers who make dresses. Ceramics are produced in the Midlands area.Blankets are manufactured in Gauteng.Jewellery is made in Kzn by a Zamantungwa.Zulu beads are bought from the women's groups for resale.
