Hefei Cement Research & Design Institute (HCRDI), located in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, is a key research institution and a state Class-A design qualification holder in building material industry of China，with a glorious history of over 50 years. Now the institute has 2, 598 employees, including 80 professor engineers, over 210 senior technologists and 430 middle-level technicians. In the field of scientific research and development, HCRDI has undertaken over 350 research subjects including national programs for science and technology development and support, of which 220 technological achievements have passed relevant evaluation, with most of them in leading position abroad and some ones filling the gap at home. And large quantities of technical results have been included in the state technology proliferation plan, greatly contributing to the scientific and technological progress of cement industry. With regard to engineering, the institute has further studied and developed the technology and equipment for pre-calciner kiln line with capacities ranging from 1000tpd to 10, 000tpd. By far, HCRDI has successfully designed more than 500 cement production lines in varied capacities up to 10, 000tpd. In science and technology industries, by taking advantage of self-owned research and development predominance and actively implementing the strategy of creating brand name products, HCRDI is able to supply grinding equipment, pyro-processing equipment, environment protection equipment, wear-and-heat-resistant materials, equipment for conveying bulk material, automatic control and measuring device and steel structure, etc, , for clinker production lines in capacities up to 10, 000t/d. In recent years, following trend of market growing in and abroad, HCRDI has duly proposed and been implementing the development strategy centering on EPC contract. It has successively undertaken over 20 turnkey projects of clinker lines in Asian, African, European and American countries as Pakistan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Chile, etc. Business of signing turnkey contracts has become a critical step for enhancement of enterprise image on world stage under the background of implementing “Walk-out” strategy.
