Guizhou Aviation Industry Import/Export Corporation (hereinafter called the GAIEC) founded in May 1993 after the approval of Guizhou Foreign Trade and Economic Ministry, is a stated-owned enterprise. It is one of the whole capital controlled companies of China National Guizhou Aviation Industry Group (hereinafter called the GAIG). GAIG is one of the stated-owned largest enterprises with relative economic scale and strong technical capability to produce both military and civilian products. It consists of 46 close enterprises and among which there are 29 manufacturers with more than 51000 employees. Its total asset value is 9.63 billion (RMB) in which the fix asset is 3.85 billion (RMB). The total turnover of GAIG last year is over 10 billion RMB. GAIEC takes on exporting products or equipment made in GAIG and the importing of materials, equipment and production lines for GAIG. GAIEC is also engaged in the processing trade, foreign economic cooperation, contacting the project, sending the labors to overseas. Our main products include: aircraft, aero-engines, casting and forging parts, standard parts, rubber parts, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, auto and auto spare parts (including radiators), electrical engines, relays, switches, solenoid valves, etc. GAIEC now has 46 employees and our turnover reached USD 45 million last year, compare to USD 38 million in year 2006.
