Grameen Sahara is an NGO of repute and its biggest current project is Golden Weavers. Its large member base has enabled the organization to produce raw Eri Cocoons,(Philosomia ricini), yarns of three kinds from it, fabrics of various quality. All are done manually. This particular products are highly thermoresistant and it is very good wear for the cold regions of the owrld. We are in the North eastern part of India and in a good strategic location to supply raw or finished Eri products to the European and east Asian countries. The rate of production is increasing day by day. Though there is a ready market locally we would like to promote this product in the export market the world around.
