With climate varying from very cold, as in Canada through to the temperate climate of the UK & Ireland, to Dry and mild climate in South Africa, right through to very hot and dry climate in Kuwait.OUR PRODUCTION METHODSWe have until now been utilizing the local small furniture maker and we are spending the majority of our production time with the quality control, servicing and finishing of the furniture we supply. We are using the small producer at this time in our development mainly because it allows us to offer our customers a large variety of quality handmade products that we would find impossible to produce in-house. We are assisting these local craftsmen to produce a quality merchantable product by drying their timber in our kiln drying facility, training them in construction methods and by taking charge of the quality control process necessary to produce a quality product. This entails employing a team technical assistants who visit our approved suppliers on a regular base to inspect and advise on the quality of the furniture they produce for us. This is followed up with in house quality control at every stage of finishing. Starting at goods-in, right through to the packing & shipping.... DRY WOODBy allowing our suppliers to utilize our professional kiln drying facility, to dry their wood, we have minimized the risk of shrinkage and cracking, which has dogged the industry here in Indonesia for sometime.
