Company Introduction
The Lohariwal Family created a revolution seventy-five (75) years ago, which included manufacturing of commercial jute bags used for various purposes for the domestic market in India.
After receiving an overwhelming market response, the Family decided to diversify our business and enter manufacture of Diversified Jute Products such as jute shopping bags, jute promotional bags, jute cotton bags and allied products. In order to globalize the new product range, Eco Jute Pvt Ltd was established in 1998.
The expertise and the manpower acquired by the company through years of experience produced an excellence in quality and quantity, which could not be equaled by other manufacturers. Today the company is foremost in the production and export of a large variety of Eco-friendly & Bio-Degradable Jute shopping bags, wine bags, promotional bags, grocery bags, gift bags, beach bags, and an exclusive collection of jute made - ups apart from supplying traditional jute products such as Hessian cloth, Gunny bags/ sacks, Hessian bags (both in normal and VOT food grade quality), Jute scrim cloth, Jute canvas/ DW Jute Tarpaulin, Jute soil saver/Geo textile, Non Woven Jute/ Jute felt, Jute webbing, Hessian tape cloth, Jute yarn, Jute rope, Dyed/ Bleached Hessian cloth, Treated Hessian/ Burlap cloth and bags - liner, Laminated/ Poly lined Jute bags etc.
Our factory located at Kolkata, City of Joy, is well served and facilitated by adequate means of transport through road, air and water and is ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certified, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System certified and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Heath & Safety Management certified apart from being a Carbon Zero certified factory.
The workforce is skilled using the latest techniques of cutting, printing, stitching and packing done all under one roof. Our production capacity has increased over the years to approximately 6.0 million bags annually and is already serving customers across Europe, USA, Australia, Middle East & South Africa to name a few.
