These semi-succulent trees are exported bare rooted thus minimising import requirements. We ship by Airfreight or Sea Cargo in O/T Containers covered with heavy shade cloth to allow plants to breath and protect against severe U/V conditions at sea, allowing for ventilation and rain to enter, these containers are top loaded. Smaller sized pots wrapped in polly cling wrap to maintain moisture levels, all pots treated with wetting agent. I have 40,000 Cycad plants in 8,000m2 of shade structure growing area. Also 3,500m2 purpose built structure for plant accimatization and conditioning to harden off plants so they may be planted directly into landscapes on arrival to country of destination, this accimatisation process need not be done again before installing plants into landscape, this saves you a lot of time and extra expense on arrival of the shipment.Established plants are shipped straight from the nursery in existing pots in Australian Nursery Industry Approved Composted Organic Soil-less Potting Media with which I always ship my plants worldwide, they are not disturbed in the preparation for Export, there is minimal or no transplant shock when planted into landscape situation because there is minimal root disturbance, no wilting or leaf drop, establishment time is cut to a short period depending on season. We have been focussing on Exporting around the world for over 10 years to destinations such as the E.U. the U.K. Asia, S.E.
