Company Introduction
Craftnetwork-Indonesia offers international buyers an efficient and secure way of sourcing innovative Bali handicraft and other Indonesia handicraft products. From one central location, it brings together the best products from Indonesia handicraft industry, aggregates the country's leading artisans to produce made to order products, as well as ensures that all items conform to the highest quality standards, all within short production time frames.
Based in Denpasar, Bali's capital, craftnetwork-Indonesia achieves its mission by assisting and working with small and medium-size handicraft producers that employ or contract groups of artisans to make their products. These companies, in addition to pursuing their business goals, are also committed to helping disadvantaged people to improve their skills and earn adequate and sustainable incomes. Together these enterprises provide employment for some 2,000 artisans. Craftnetwork-Indonesia seeks to support the continued growth of these businesses. This support includes business and technical skills development, capacity building in product design, working closely with producers to fill large orders, and achieving cost efficiencies through consolidated marketing and sales efforts.
Craftnetwork - Indonesia was launched and is supported by ifc-pensa, part of the International Finance Corporation (member of The World Bank Group). All products featured in our website are made by producers that are receiving technical assistance from IFC-PENSA.
IFC-PENSA's assistance to small and medium enterprises in eastern Indonesia is made possible by generous grants from The IFC, Asian Development Bank, and The Governments of Australia, Canada, Japan, The Netherlands and Switzerland.
