Founding: CP SOLAR, a limited company from Hong Kong and China mainland was founded in 2006 by the Chief Executive Officer, M. PALIER Jean Pierre, a former Purchasing and Sales Director in France. Originally called China Partner Service, M. PALIER turned his strategy and energy towards renewable energies and named his enterprise CP SOLAR. Photovoltaic modules, Windmills, and Street lights system were the starting main products portfolio. After an overview of all the market trend and environment policies throughout European countries (feed in tariff, subsidies…), CP SOLAR dedicated his effort and knowledge through the PV Market starting 2007. Expansion: When CP SOLAR decided to relocate his resources in PV market in 2007, we firstly launched products that can fit and comply with the French standards. Indeed, the management of CP SOLAR is composed from French partners and Chinese. This partnership oriented through friendship, networking and strong background experiences, allowed CP SOLAR to expand his development in the niche market of Solar Kit system (PV modules, Inverter, integration structure system, cables). This strategy help us to grow in the fast pace in 2008 while exhibiting our latest products during local French exhibitions in 2008. Since that harsh time, where competitions, new comers, and the “Made In China” were our obstacles, we decided to ensure quality modules through TUV and VERITAS Laboratories and to dedicate sales force in the French market. Our strong knowledge of the French market and obstinacy to provide quality product, a high level of service in 4 different languages increase our image and turnover rapidly. From IEC 61215 to IEC61730, CP SOLAR developed and followed all modules improvement to comply strictly with every European standard. Nowadays, CP SOLAR keeps producing and launching Solar Package to his customers with close relationship, understanding and technical feedback. Various projects in Europe are now realized with CP SOLAR modules from ground, industrial, commercial and residential applications. We aim at providing full concept and service in order to match our customer’s requirements. Our goal and philosophy consist in fully transparency of our production and quality process as well as the best modules efficiency for a better Return on Investment ( $/Kwh). Size of Company: From 6 people in 2006, CP SOLAR now reached a total of 350 employees mainly located in China. Our goal for the end of 2011 is to reach 600 employees. The turnover grew as rapidly and efficiently as our staff with a sales income of 6.7millions $ USD in 2008, 18 million $ USD in 2009, 69.2 million $ USD in 2010 and a forecast of 152 million $ USD in 2011 (80MW). This last objective corresponds to an accurate assessment of European market and worldwide thanks to our sales people. Different sole distribution contracts are about to be signed to confirm our increasing volume in Italy, France, Belgium and UK market. Among those projects, some are above 20MW projects. Products: CP SOLAR Group developed the latest technology of MONO and POLYCRYSTALLINE modules to achieve the most efficient performance on a long-term period. We offer a range of Mono from 190Wc, 195Wc and 245Wc and Poly from 230Wc to 300Wc. We also supply our latest modules such as The Ultra range (positive tolerance) in standard or black colour, our 200Wc Mono or our laminated frame 185Wc Mono and 230Wc Poly. All those latest items came out with a efficient R&D department in China and France. 2007 was a year of great success with our residential roof integration system that enabled us to increase our market share in France. It is a real milestone for CP SOLAR because our kit which is simple, practical, and cost effective helped customers out in growing their own business locally with less installation period, and a higher profit rate. Many references and recommendations were sent to our group claiming our professionalism and flexibility to provide the best product at the best price. Our latest Solar Kit system called SOLE- IN TILE will represent in 2011 a large volume. More than 3000 kits are expected to be sold only on the French market. Further countries like Italy, Austria, UK, and Germany will have a great feedback. This residential application structure, designed by our own Engineers, from 2KW to 6Kw consists in fewer components, laminated panels that cover the roof to fit the new French standards of the residential application. Our various range of SOLE-IN system fits all type of application from small to large scale size. Most of modules follow the PV trend and technology improvement and therefore, CP SOLAR combines high efficiency cells and raw materials so that their modules always positive tolerances. As far as our line of panels, our 190Wc Mono is one of our best seller as well as the 230Wc poly where Italian investors are found of these typical characteristics. In CP SOLAR’s production process, we are committed to only use the best raw materials in the market either in China or in Europe. From the Back sheet to the cell itself, we check, outsource, control with accuracy all our components to produce the best solar module. Having a credibility and reliability in the photovoltaic field take time. Therefore, contracting the best suppliers is not only a possibility but a critical point for us. It doesn’t change that much through the years. EXPORT: CP SOLAR mainly exports to EUROPEAN COUNTRIES and predominantly to France with 75% of shipment last year. The new year‘s forecast will lower the statistics to balance the volume in other booming territories like Italy, Romania and Germany. Outside Europe, Australia remains a interesting spot to attack in 2011 with orders in progress. UK, Italy, Switzerland, Malta, Belgium, Spain and Germany are among the countries where CP SOLAR developed sales business. We focus our energy on market analysis and marketing survey to ensure to provide the best product, at the best price with the most efficient system. Important distribution contracts were signed or on their way for January 2011 to establish a strong market penetration in different like Italy, France, Romania, and Spain. According to our latest product and price requirement received in our head office, CP SOLAR is focusing all his energy to establish an important sales network in Italy. DISTRIBUTION: CP SOLAR now called as CP SOLAR Group have a Sales branch in partnership with ORACLE SOLAR S.A.S located in France offering the full range of CP SOLAR products and services. Other locations like UK offer a local approach of the market and to have a close feedback with potential customers. Tunisia and Kosovo are among the 2 countries where CP SOLAR GROUP will develop in Join Venture Production Plants within the next 12 months so that production time and shipments will be reduced dramatically.
