In 1980, the research of radiation bionic material and Chinese phantoms was begun in China. In 1985, the Chinese male phantom made by polyethylene-vinyl acetate was finished successfully. In 1989, Chinese female pelvic radiation phantom was finished successfully. In 1992, the phantom researched by ourselves was named as Chengdu Dosimetric Phantoms by ICRU. It became one of the phantoms which were recommended to the world. In the same year, the therapy model of rhinitis cancer between head and neck, female breast model and the focus of chest model were researched successfully. In 2000, transparent and elastic whole body radiation phantom with 20 kinds of organs were researched successfully. In 2001, Chinese collision experimental phantom for cars was researched successfully for the first time. In 2004, Chinese first aviation ejection lifesaving phantom was researched successfully. In 2005, Chinese first paratrooper phantom, first helicopter anti-falling and anti-breaking phantom and first safety experimental phantom for electric-car were researched successfully. No-direction semiconductor radiation detector and multi-passageway radiation dosage distributed apparatus were researched successfully. And they were used into the new conformal radiotherapy.
