COMPANY PROFILE


As a stand-alone company we started our commercial operations in the year 1998 with designer products made of value-added jute fabric as our primary product portfolio. Though we belong to the K S MANICKAM group, which was established in the year 1947 we are still a small, growing company with a firm commitment and a new product segment.

The main instinct for us adopt such a new product segment was the significant merits this fabric offered over the alternate materials and world’s reaction towards environment protection and Eco-friendly products. Since inception we were catering to the domestic market and making indirect exports as well. Our long-term goal is to become a predominant player in the international market, built a loyal clientele and prove a trust-worthy supplier. These goals propelled us to pursue direct foreign buyer and agent contacts in the recent times.

Our capacity is in the order of 3,000 to 9,000 bags per month based on the design from simple to complex. In the case of promotional bags, our capacity is 30,000 bags in a month. We believe in successful teamwork and have a dedicated workforce all-time ready to plan, execute and meet the commitment as per schedule. With a view to provide better work environment and update infrastructure, we have a plan to move our manufacturing unit to our own premises very shortly. Our office is located in our own premises at a central business district of Chennai City, a commercial hub in the southern part of India. Just for information, our bankers are the co-occupants of two floors since 1996 in our premises.

We consider the manpower as the most valuable resource of any organization. Quality and prompt delivery will alone satisfy a customer. A satisfied customer will give repeat business, becoming a loyal clientele. We understand maintaining this motto will increase the business.
