Company Introduction
CAQ INTERNATIONAL LLC / CAQ CASA DA QUIMICA IND. E COM. LTDA
CAQ was founded on July 14th, 1959 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the ideal of good health for human being. Our main activities are the manufacturing of Fine Chemicals and Reagents, ACS and USP grades, as well as importing pharmaceutical and active ingredients. Day by day, since our establishment, we have aimed to gain expertise in order to provide better and better raw materials. Although we are a growing company each passing year, and in the near future we hope to become a global player. From these endeavors we desire to contribute to human health and play a positive role in making people s lives healthy, comfortable and satisfying.
Manufacturing
In our factory we use Glass-lined reactors and stainless steel. CAQ emphasizes exceptionally the final manufacturing processes. Crystallizing, filtrating, drying and crushing of the final products take place in a special clean facility. Every process is strictly managed.
API s / Dialisys Salts / Inorganic Salts
Micronization
Optimization and control of particle size are becoming ever more important in the development of pharmaceutical products.
Air jet micronization is a well proven technique that consistently produces particles in the 1-30 micron range. CAQ is will become a leader in air jet milling, having evolved from a manufacturer of jet mills with some contract milling to exclusively a contract micronizer.
The primary advantages of air jet micronizers are; particle reduction occurs via particle to particle collisions with limited reduction from metal to product contact and no generation of heat . Other advantages include no moving parts and easy to clean surfaces.
The primary benefit to micronizing is the increase in solubility/bioavailability due to the increase in surface area.
Analytical and Analyses Testing Services
Next future cGMP testing to supplement in-house capabilities
CAQ s laboratories will provide cGMP analytical testing to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries on a contract basis. Our dedicated staff can help expand, as well as support, the in-house capabilities of our customers.
Using validated, state of the art equipment, our laboratory offers the following services:
Material characterization: CAQ s laboratories provide a wide assortment of material characterization techniques and can support milling operations with effective, real-time data on your active ingredient.
Stability testing: Understanding the effects of temperature and humidity on drug purity and performance is crucial to developing a consistent product. At CAQ , we offer ICH compliant testing and sample storage to support our customers drug substance and drug product stability needs.
Product release testing: When a product is ready to go to market, we ll provide the necessary release testing to ensure it is cGMP compliant.
Microbiological and Chemical analyses services.
Method development and validation: As a global leader in drug substance micronization, we analyze thousands of samples per month. With an emphasis on material characterization techniques such as particle size analysis, surface area analysis and x-ray powder diffraction, we offer a wealth of experience in method development and validation for these techniques.
Personalized project management is provided for each analytical testing project resulting in: Rapid turnaround /Additional expertise for customer teams /Trusted results.
Quality Control System
We use good analysis laboratory instruments in order to always guarantee accurate quality assurance. Our strict quality management includes standard analysis based on specification and inspection during manufacturing processes.
Employees
We employ more than 80 people team to provide best services
