Ltd (China) and the President of Azam Office Equipment Co. L.L.C. (UAE) met and realized that both of them had a common viewpoint: the Original Equipment Manufacturers are producing imaging consumables that are highly expensive. They shared a vision of creating cheaper alternative consumables without compromising quality, and therefore started a new partnership. Pooling their years of research and resources, along with their accumulated experience in the office automation industry, they created a new brand of imaging consumables, IKON, and launched it in early 2005.
