Founded in 1961, China Ship Research and Development Academy (CSRDA) was the former 7th Research Academy in the Department of Defense, which offers technological support to the Chinese Navy. In order to apply its ship communication technologies to other fields of military and civilian services, the Academy founded Beijing Huanjia Telecom Technology Co. in 1994. In recent years, by investing a large sum of financial and human capital, by applying military technologies and foreign experiences, the company has taken the lead in China in successfully developing the COFDM series products of wireless digital video transmission. This series of products has completely resolved the problem of “high-speed, non-line-of-sight and mobile transmission”, and received positive responses from various businesses as soon as it was introduced into the market.
