Bata Plastics Incorporated, a full service plastic recycling facility, was founded in 1985. Bata buys and sells surplus and rejected parts of post industrial plastics, metals both ferrous and non-ferrous from different manufacturers and scrap dealers. We sell all forms of these plastics including engineering resin and regrind, lumps, chunks, and purges. Also we have ABS, CC, Commingle, Crosslink, XLPE, EPS, HDPE, HIPS, LDPE, Nylon, PC, PC-PET, PET, PP, PVC, drained acid lead battery, conveyorbelt, used tires.

We are located in a 120,000 square ft. building in Grand Rapids Michigan. Our warehouse has sixteen loading docks to facilitate fast drops and pick-ups. Quality control includes inspection and careful analysis in our plant. We are a family owned and operated business that stands behind our products.

Bata offers a wide variety of services for our customers. These include toll grinding, baling, palletizing, washing and a complete fines and metal separation system. We also buy and sell virgin resin, off spec pellets, steel, aluminum, paper, corrugated cardboard, and gaylord boxes.

To help our customers in maintaining valuable floor space in their plants, we have over 100 drop trailers and 5 tractors available to meet our client's needs. To service our customers efficiently, a semi-trailer is left at the pick up site until full, then Bata is called to pick up the full trailer and switch in an empty. The material is then brought into the plant and processed by grinding sorting and baling. Our trucking logistics include the United States, Canada and Mexico.
