Established in 1988 Bagmati Paper Industries (BPI) is an organizations dedicated to genuine handicraft industry, commerce and business of paper and paper related items in Nepal. She is one of the pioneers in handmade paper and assorted paper products manufacturer, wholesaler, and exporting enterprise.At present, 100 staff gets their remuneration under the pay bill of Bagmati Paper and more than 40 workers work on daily/casual wages basis. Hundreds of local people are getting benefit through various jobs inter-related in different segment of production, trading and export. The normal capacity of "Bagmati Paper Industries" is about 5,000 paper sheets a day each of approximate 15 gsm in weight and 51 x 76cm. in dimension.Since 1996, Bagmati Paper has been extending its&＃39; second phase works; a large production capacity, widened factory and workshop building complex in Thimi, Bhaktapur (just 200 meters from Kodari highway, Nepal/China border) with an additional investment of Rs.20,00,000 financed by own sources.The total export figure for last year reached approximately Forty million Rupees. Mainly Bagmati Arts & Handicraft is being exported to all around the world but mostly the goods are exported to USA, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Italy and many more European countries.Bagmati International is a sister company of Bagmati Paper Industries. It is established to diversify the product range. It was founded by Satya Lal Shrestha who is also the founder of Bagmati Paper Industry.
