Company Introduction

Automation Industries LLC began as Trienco, Inc. in 1973. The company was purchased by Automation Industries Corporation in 2000 and, due to tax advantages, it's structure was changed to LLC in 2013. The company is the original developer of the air coupled ultrasonic technology (1973) used in testing wood fiber based panels for internal lack of bond defects. The company has installed over 250 of this type system in a broad range of applications in 28 countries. There are numerous installations that have operated continuously for 30 or more years and are still fully supported. Our ultrasonic technology was developed by us and is not duplicated by any other source. It specifically avoids the deficiencies associated with transducers using ceramic crystals. Our technology lends itself to in process testing of numerous materials besides wood fiber based panels and includes systems for scanning coextruded membranes, honeycomb, tire carcasses, etc.
Our systems are technology current, readily interfaceable and also offer the advantage of having NO imbedded computers, thereby eliminating the constant obsolescence associated with them.

The company is also the original developer of the first effective, fully digital Laser Thickness Gause technology (1974) and has installed in excess of 150 systems using this technology. These systems are available in fixed position arrays and in cross machine scanning forms that can produce accurate, cross machine profiles of shapes. This technology is current and is also devoid of imbedded computers. The systems readily interface to external plant systems. These systems are complete, turnkey units that include stable scanning frames that preserve the system accuracy in industrial environments and also deal with the plant environments of heat, cold, residues, vibration, etc. We do not ship a box of parts for you to solve the factory integration problems on your own.

Automation Industries has been in these businesses for over 40 years, in every case that we know of, many years longer than our competitors have been in existence. There is no competitor that can match our record of long term support or cost of ownership nor our continued drive to eliminate obsolescence forced by third party suppliers (computers and computer operating systems).
