ALTO was established in Seoul in January 1984, and has grown into an international brand since then, with registered trademark in 17 countries in Europe, America and Asia.

Over the last 19 years, ALTO has designed, manufactured and supplied lighting for many internationally renowned domestic aritectures including LG Twin Building, POSCO Centre, LG Kangnam Tower, ASEM Centre, incheon finest hotels. ALTO has also participated in many other projects including 7 five star hotels throughout Asia including Japan, Guam, China and Vietnam. ALTO has grown into the best lighting company in Asia, representing Korea.

Also the 'ALTO' Architectural Lighting Design Institute', which was the first of its kind to be established in Korea(1987) and has grown tremendously over the last 15 years, plays an important role in the development of the Korean Lighting industry by developing of lighting equipments and lighting plans for many deomestic and foreign architectures, and participating in lighting education programs.
