Altermed is a company specializing in sports and medical tapes in Korea(especially Kinesiology tape, Cross tape).
In 1990, Dr. Aeo Kang(physiatrist, pediatrician) introduced and spread balance (Kinesio) taping first in Korea. Altermed has become Korean best sports and medical tape company through high quality product development and continuous investment in R&D on effective taping methods.
With continuous promotion, training and mass-production lines, we have enabled the general public to easily purchase and use BB tapes which once were considered to be used only by doctors or athletes. Therefore, as well as medial and sports areas, BB tapes are used in various fields such as home, schools (elementary through university), industrial workers, senior care, leisure, and militaries.
As our product quality is recognized in other countries, we are experiencing an export rise to U.S, Canada and Europe.
