Company Introduction
Agricultural Research and Development Limited is pleased to announce its patented new invention, Advance Warning Automated-thermal Reading Equipment (AWARE), which is a control device to detect viral infection, including avian influenza.
Agricultural Research and Development Ltd. Is a Hong Kong incorporated company, which has spent the last 2 years in researching and developing AWARE. It is a remote wireless temperature sensor system, which is capable of automatically reading the body temperature of poultry, livestock and animals, including humans, at regular intervals and detecting even minor deviations of body temperature. The device is externally attached to a group of targets without any harm or unacceptable discomfort and reads the temperature, which is then transmitted, to a receiver that records the data on a computer. An alarm, which can be connected to a mobile telephone or the master computer or through the Internet, is activated when the temperature of a target group falls below or rises above a pre-set range. This is the first indication of any viral infection and the vulnerable target is identified by a bar code system and can be easily removed and therefore minimizing the possibility of contaminating or spreading any infection to others.
