DMR was founded in 1977 by three entrepreneurs, all engineers. It was originally founded as a limited company. In 1989, it became a corporation. Initially, it was only involved in producing brass parts for air-conditioners. Later, parts for automotive and gas industries were introduced. Different brass components were produced on-demand as well.
