Due to the group large expertise and strong connections in all fields of the libyan market the chairman of the nahr group mr. Sadek EL abani has been chosen to be member of the higher committee for foreign investment in libya.

Mr. EL abani has organized an economical forum for spanish investments in the libya during the 12th and 13th of november,2001. It was held in madrid, spain and attended by over 10 ministers from the libyan government.
As a result, the company has been rewarded many certificates and awards for its accomplishments both in libya and spain.

Some of these awards included:
Best company of the year in spain during 1988
A certificate awarded by the sebha county(libya ) in favorer of building the largest plant for purifying water&botling mineral water plant;
A certificate of gratitude and acknowledgement given by libyan prime minister for the organization of the forum held in madrid,2001;
A certificate of gratitude from the higher committed of investments, for organizing the forum in madrid,2001;

In addition to the above mentioned, the company also has many industrial trade activities with numerous international co-operations.
