XI’AN LIBANG PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. was founded in 1996 by returnee of oversea Chinese students. Located in Xi’an of China, the centre of the northwest pharmaceutical industry, LIBANG specialized in research, development, production and distribution of lipid-based Finished Dosage Forms and high-valued generic APIs. With more than 10 years growth, LIBANG has became one of Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Industries and also ranks in the Top 20 Growth Potential in Chinese Pharmaceuticals rated by the IMS. LIBANG is a technology-driven firm, with 8% of the annual sales revenues devoted to R&D, established 4 R&D platforms from APIs development to commercialization of Lipid-based drug delivery system. As the first and also largest supplier of Propofol Injection in China, LIBANG started its business and subsequently launched a broad portfolio products covering anesthetics, cardiovascular, antineoplastic, parenteral nutrition etc. LIBANG owns 3 FDF facilities and 2 APIs plants, all of them are operated in strict conformity to GMP. Xi’an Formulation Plant is located in the Xi`an Hi-Tech Zone, passed SFDA inspection and obtained the national GMP certificates. There are three Small Volume Parenterals production lines: two for ampoules, one for vials. SVP Production Capacities: 70 million amp/vial per year Another Formulation Plant located in Baoji city, is dedicated for LVP and solid dosage forms, obtained the GMP certificate in 2010. LVP Production Capacities: 8 million vial per year. Solid dosage forms Production Capacities: 5000 million tab/cap per year Libang API Plants One API plant built in 1996. The plant has been successfully audited by US FDA 2 times and SFDA 3 times since 1999. The plant can handle reactions from 1 to 1000 kg scale, the plant is able to handle solid and liquid products, operate the multi tons reactions with a temperature range from -50°C to +200°C, and handle high-pressure reactions.
