Thal Engineering is a division of Thal Limited [that comes under House Of Habib (HOH)]. Thal was incorporated in 1966 as a public limited company and is listed on all the major stock exchanges of Pakistan. Thal Engineering started off its operations in 1996 with the manufacturing of Auto Air Conditioners for Toyota and Suzuki vehicles, assembled in Pakistan. Later on, Thal diversified its business strategy, subsequently adding Wiring Harness, Heater Blower, & A/c controls to its product line. Thal Engineering is also the supplier of Aluminum Radiators & Reserve tanks. Since its inception Thal Engineering entered into a TAA (Technical Assistance Agreement) with multinational giants of the Auto Vending industry, Denso-Japan, to initially start manufacturing car A/Cs. Few years later Thal Engineering entered into another TAA with Furukawa Electric-Japan for the manufacturing of wiring harness. Thal Engineering Offers complete after sales support at its 3S Thal Aircon Center (TAC). Installation of new auto air conditioners, sales of spare parts, and warranty claims are few services offered to customers at TAC. The Electric Systems business was established in the year 2000 with the signing of a TAA (Technical Assistance Agreement) with Furukawa Electric Company, Japan. Furrukawa is one of the leading suppliers of automotive wiring harness system in the world and has more than 50 subsidiaries/companies in twenty countries. The combined synergies of both the companies have enabled the business to establish itself in a relatively quick span of time as a premier supplier of car wiring systems to all automobile manufacturers in Pakistan. The business is the only TS 16949 certified wire harness manufacturer in Pakistan with automated assembly lines and hi-tech machines, which is an emphasis on quality-centric priorities. Automatic machines, ultrasonic and resistance welding machines and moving track assembly lines amongst other modern machinery and processes enable the company to stay abreast of the vehicle technology.
