We at TERRA-FIRMA BIOTECHNOLOGIES LTD are a group of Agriculture Graduates and Technocrats working purely on environmental aspects in the name Our Solid waste recycling facility based in Bangalore Since 1994, spread across an area of 130 Acres to Process Municipal Solid waste with a vision to replace chemical fertilizers world over, substantially and also to promote Organic Farming . Biotechnologies developed Indigenously for agriculture Organic Farming were suitably modified to manage urban waste as well by adopting Microbial and Vermiculture Concepts to convert Solid Waste into value added and Enriched Products.We also aim at developing and have been successful up to a large extent to promote sustainable development and we have acquired in�¢ï¿½ï¿½depth knowledge in handling and managing solid waste. In recognition of the unique concept, the Government of Karnataka has awarded the Managing Director with Best Environmentalist for the year 1995-96 through Department of Pollution Control Board. Other areas of recognition include:Indian Express Award �¢ï¿½ï¿½ recognized, Right Attribute Awards from Padmashree Charitable Trust, Magnum Award from Magnum Foundation, Nagpur.
