South Plastic Industry Co, Ltd. Was established in 1981. Focusing on the market of high-class food packaging containers, it has become the first company that imported OPS food packaging containers into Taiwan. In 1993, in order to strengthen competency with products diversity, Chupa Inc was founded in Chungli, dedicating itself to the production of advanced and various food-packaging materials to render its service to a broad range of clients.

SPI produce a variety of plastic food containers under the regulation of Food Safety Department, which are made of OPS, HIPS, PP, and PET. It also develops and designs custom products according to clients demands.
