Qingdao Associated Textiles Group is a large cotton textile factory. And one of the professional exporting enterprises pointed by the government of Shandong province and that of Qingdao municipality. In 1993, it was mentioned on the list of the 500 biggest textile industry enterprises of the country. In 1994, it was awarded as one of the 100 largest textile-managing enterprises (the 86th).
In. 1997, the factory gained the direct import and export right of yarn and fabric, and we have gained great achievement in import and export trade in the past several years. And in the year of 2000, we established Qingdao No. 6 Cotton Mill Import & Ex port Company Limited, the establishing of which enlarged the manage scope of our corporation and set the base for our later development.
Built in 1921, the factory covers 410,000 square meters in area, including 230,000 square meters building space and has assets of 580 million RMB. We have powerful technology and advanced producing and testing machines, including 100,000 spindles and 1042 wide looms. Our factory mainlu produces grey yarn of cotton, polyester/cotton, and viscose, dyed yarn, grey fabric and dyes yarn fabric. In thepast several years, we developed series of new products including TENCEL, Modal, soyabean fibre, hard twist yarn, slastic fabric, P/C fabric, conductive fabric (anti-static), etc. The factory annually produces 8,000 tons of cotton yarn and 50,000,000 meters of cotton fabrics, and makes export profit of 25,000,000 dollars every year. During our development of so many years, we gained very rich experiments, such as the famous operating Method "Hao Jianxiu Spoinning Machines Operating Method", "5.1 Loom Operating Method" and "5.3 Loom Maintaining Method", which contribute a lot for the textile industry of our country.
