Diesel Generators Gas Generators Engine From April 2004 group started manufacturing of gas base generating sets and acquired market leader position in merely 18 months for 20 to 65 KVA range. Among generator set manufacturers in India, only 2 large corporate companies could qualify for stringent emission norms for its generating sets up to 19 KVA. In spite of its small size, Technology cell of Prakash met the challenge and became the 3rd to join the competition. ARAI has further approved 27 to 82 H.P. engines with similar stringent emission norms. Quality, cost effectiveness & customer care has remained as thrust policy of the group. Prakash was accredited ISI mark in 1979 for its product range. It is registered with DGS&D since last 15 years. Prestigious certifying bodies like RDSO, EIL and RITES have approved products manufactured by the group. Prakash is certified for ISO: 9000 since 2002. To meet the appeal of environment conservation, sought ISO: 14000 from 2004. Group has received various prestigious awards which has encouraged to start for excellence. A few awards to mention are Sir Visvesvarya Entrepreneurship awards in 1985 by Union Minster of Industries, Self Made industrialist awards in 1996 by Hon&＃039;ble President of India and Export Excellence award by EEPC for 2000-2001. Prakash has prestigious customers from organized sector to its list namely Greaves, Indian Railways, Defense, and various government departments besides export to more than 10 countries. Prakash group has a wide net work of 450 dealers spread over the every part of the country controlled from offices established in Kolkata, Patna, New Delhi & Bangalore. Globalization of Indian economy has opened wide opportunities to manufacturing sector in India. Hence, group decided to diversify in to foundry sector. We are setting up a mechanized foundry unit, with M. F. Induction furnace & Gas fired cupola.
