The company was founded in 1972 by its owner, Mr. Joseph Dsouza, and started the business by manufacturing and selling Heating Mantles, Water Bath, Hot Plate during the first years. Beginning with 1985 the company expanded its range by manufacturing Oven, Incubator, Autoclave and Muffle Furnace.

Thereafter in 1992 few more products were included such as Stability Chamber, BOD Incubator, Cooling Incubator and Photostability Chamber. Subsequently in 1995 product up gradation was initiated, software-generated data recording on PC / printer interfacing was incorporated.

Today the portfolio of OSWORLD includes sophisticated equipment with PLC control and software run programs, with 21 CFR compliant features for data storing and recording for high level requirements.

Calibration

Certificate of calibration traceable to National Physics Laboratory (NPL) and in compliance with ISO 9001:2000, are part of our normal calibration process and are included with the equipment when it is supplied.
The master calibrator input source is calibrated at Electronics Regional Test Laboratory (ERTL)

ERTL is one of the laboratories of STQC Directorate, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Government of India engaged primarily in providing Accredited Calibration and Testing facilities
