The origins of Kelman Bottles date back to 1895 with the formation of the Glenshaw Glass Company in Glenshaw, Pa. For more than 100 years, Glenshaw producted quality containers at the current location and another plant in Orangeburg, NY. At one time, Glenshaw produced 950 tons of glass per day at the Glenshaw facilty alone. The legacy of Glenshaw has alwayas been the quality people working in the plant. That legacy continues today. Through its group of companies, Kelman Glass produces, markets and distributes glass containers, decorative glass for the table top and hospitality markets, and find hand-made glass. All of the glass is 100 percent produced in the USA. Kelman Bottles occupies 100, 000 square feet in the former Glenshaw plant along Route 8 in Glenshaw, PA. Our company produces 3 colors of glass per day and employs over 100 skilled and dedicated people. Many of our company's employees have more than thirty years of glass industry experience. As an independant glass company in an industry dominated by a small number of major players, Kelman Bottles is comfortable in its role as a niche suplier. We aim to be the best-not the biggest.
