Desert Craft Trust-started as the social development initiative of the crafts persons-began its work in the Bikaner Block of Bikaner district with the objective of "To provide sustainable livelihoods to the poorest of the poor".
Desert Craft is a brand promoted by artisan's organization of Western Rajasthan, a not-for-profit Trust based in the Bikaner district of Western Rajasthan. Through our range of products we strive to give quality and a fair deal to both the customer and the rural producer.
Our product-range is based on a two-pronged approach: to work with locally available skills and resources; and to introduce new capacities. We produce and market hand woven and hand embroidered textiles. Our products are marketed under the brand name Desert Craft.
