Cooperativa Casaforte

The enactment of the Cooperative Code of the Philippines (R.A. 6938) and the Law Creating the Cooperative Development Authority (R.A. 6939) institutionalized the advancement of the Cooperative Movement in the Philippines. In the words of Edna E. Aberilla, former CDA Chairperson, ?these laws embody, among others, the principle that government and the Cooperative Movement should support each other to achieve their common objective of improving the socio-economic conditions of the people?.
