Bear swamp studio, is a small woodworking studio located in the heart of the finger lakes region of Central new York state. Surrounded by the remnants of what was once the great primeval forest of the northeast, bear swamp studio specializes in creating the highest quality lamps from native species of northeast hardwoods such as oak, cherry, black walnut, ash, and maple.
These handmade lamps are designed and built by woodworker larry dean, who has been creating objects in wood since 1971.
