Born in Germany, Dietrich joined the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and immigrated later to Australia as a member of the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) Orchestra in Brisbane. He started his violinshop in 1996 with the ambition to source the most beautiful sounding violins at a very reasonable price. Animato has developed into the largest string instrument specialist in the Southern Hemisphere with thousands of happy customers all over the world.
Animato has sourced the best instruments, exclusively available to Animato's customers. These instruments are then quality controlled in our premises with strictest guidelines. The sound quality is top priority. It has to meet our high standards, even for inexpensive outfits.
Our store and dispatch centre consists of four adjacent shops close to the city centre of Brisbane, Australia.
