Since 1946 WIM Inc has developed acid additives for pickling steel. WIM introduced the first pickling accelerator in 1946 and have continued to improve the products efficiency. These additives can be used in any pickling acid. Although we specialize in the manuifacture of acid accelerators and inhibitors we do provide related specialty chemicals such as a galvanizing flux additive and rinse additives to remove residual iron salts from the pickled surface.The WIM Naxid series of accelerators can reduce the enmergy required to pickle up to 26% with a surace that is up to 33% brighter with no loss in production or line speed.
