It is my firm conviction that an enterprise is a living entity. That is to say, a business entity has a spirit of its own that has much to do with its raison d&＃39;etre. Without it, the company can hardly remain stable. We at Sunchang Corporation have, since the establishment of the company in 1959, cherished an unending &＃39;special dream&＃39;. Taken from the universal point of view that businesses merely seek profits, the cherished dream might seem foreign and to some extent unrealistic. Yet the apiritual tree of Sunchang that has been cultivated over the past four decades goes beyond mere profit-making ; it has a keen relationship with the prosperity of the entire society in which everybody can coexist and try to benefit on an equal footing. I hope Sunchang will be a company which is in some ways fostered and managed by society. We have to maintain and develop the industry in a humble and resolute manner, I think. As chairman of the company, I&＃39;m convinced that Sunchang has been carrying out its solid responsibility and role without a hitch.I&＃39;m also convinced that craftmanship and an enlivened spirit for sound development keeps the firm on top of the plywood industry. Now we are standing at the dawn of the new millenium as one of the strongest companies in the world.
