We have had 25 years experience in Egypt for the study, promotion and supply of security paper, materials and security laminates to produce passports, driving licenses, car licenses, birth certificates, social security cards, army draft certificates, checks and bank notes.We have formed a local company SHIELD which is specialized in developing and applying solutions for the authentification, validation and traceability of the personal data incorporated in documents e.g. passports, driving licenses, etc.A decision was made to include protection of trade marks & product brands when coming to realize that the presence of imitated goods with very good replications of popular brand names were in abundance on the market. Counterfeit products usually do not correspond with standards and quality of the genuine products.Consequently this will constitute a decline of original market share, loss of credibility and trust of the products, and risk of economical and financial failure. In case of food or pharmaceutical products this could become a dangerous risk to human health.
