Established in 1981 as a professional sale company of petrochemical
products, Sewon Enterprise has contributed to the progress of the
national petrochemical industry by supplying ethylene glycol, acrylic
monomer, TDI and other solvents to customers on a steady basis.

In 1990, Sewon built its own factory of integrated automation to
manufacture precision parts for automobiles, railway vehicles and
containers. In 1998, Sewon also built a factory of acrylic sheets in
the southern part of the peninsula near Pusan, where high-quality
acrylic sheets are rolled out of the automated production lines.

The company first developed polycarbonate sheet, then an advanced
petrochemical material in its R&D center set up in 1994, to displace
the polycarbonate sheets which the Korean market entirely depended on
