SAMWON PETRA was established in 1979 as Royal Metal Co, Originally, involved in the production of nail clippers and bead chains, the company converted to specialize in the production of bead chains in 1987. In 1991, SAMWON became the official sole supplier of the Korean Ministry of National Defense and SAMWON became the first company in Asia to engineer an automatic 24 hours bead chain manufacturing Line in 1997.
