Sairon Tech are developed and commercialized the prism coupler(SPA-series) which is widely used in the Optics of physics, and (applied) chemistry, polymer research, and New material engineering.

Prism Coupler realizes optical waveguiding techniques to measure the refractive index, thickness of thin film and also  bulk , Liquid index and the loss measurement for waveguiding.

SPA-4000 has special option to measure the waveguiding loss. This option measures the loss of planar optical waveguides using the index matching oil method which gives an accuracy less than 0.01 dB/cm(SiO2, 2-layer, 1550nm TE-mode).

These instruments can be applied to a wide variety of industrial fields including optical communication, basic polymer research, plastic Optical Fiber.
