BELLUMI�� the LED electric bulb of MK Lighting Co.,Ltd. is a substitute for conventional incandescent lamp, three wave electric bulb, halogen electric bulb and fluorescent lamp. We forecasted that LED electric bulbs would dominate the industry. And so we started to invest in R&D from 1997 and developed an excellent quality product in technological terms as compared to our competitors.
BELLUM means 'beautiful light' which is composed of BELLE(beauty) +LUMI(light) in French. This trademark is registered .Also we have many patents which are related with structure, circuit ,configurations ,LED driving method and trademarks.
We completed development of these products in 2000, but were unable to find appropriate LED semiconductor components for production. In 2007, with the arrival of high quality LED semiconductor components, we were able to apply them to our products and launch the finished products into the market in April 2007. By 2007, we upgraded the quality of our products by conducting various tests of environment, durability and field. We started to export the products to Japan in the second half of 2007 and full-scale manufacturing as well as selling. We developed a new method of effective diffusion of heat for our LED bulbs which are small in size. We also developed and applied electronic circuit and embedded program for longer use of LED. This product can be used as a substitute for conventional incandescent lamp, three wave electric bulbs, halogen electric bulbs and fluorescent lamp. One of the most important feature of our product is convenient compatibility where only electric bulbs needed to be changed in the existing electric bulb equipment. Another feature is the development of globe which are made with special material and structure for uniform dispersion of light to reduce the fatigue of the eyes by the direct light, a shortcoming in the ordinary LED electric bulbs.
