Joongwon Electric corporation, one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of Cutout switches, Lightning arresters, Load break switches, Disconnecting switches, SFG Gas switches, Mertering out fits and Current Limiting fuses and Etching products, etc, and importers of high voltage insulators in Korea.
The works established in 1962 and located in 727-9 Wonsi-dong, Ansan-si, Kyungki-do, Korea.
At present, there are 90 workers and staff members in the works.

The works has  gained high reputation both at home and abroad for its fine products which have been exported to many countries and regions over the world.

The works introduced technical know-how agreement/contract from S&C Electric Co., USA for Cutout switches and Fuse links in 1976.
The products for export are normally manufactured according to IEC standard or ANSI standard.
