Hanyang ENG, established in 1982, first succeeded in manufacturing the semiconductor utility system in Korea through its bold adoption of technology and research & development. It was made when foreign companies were dominating the Korean market in the area of semiconductor utility system. It also helped Hanyang ENG contribute greatly to increasing the competitiveness in the Korean key industries. Later, Hanyang ENG played a key role as a partner in the Korean semiconductor industry, by generating many talented engineers in the fields of clean rooms and utility systems. In addition, Hanyang ENG localized and supplied the central chemical supply system (C.C.S.S.), which is central to the production of high-tech products. Through the system, Hanyang ENG made a significant contribution to increasing the price competitiveness of Korean high-tech products and the development of apparatus technology. The utility system, which is set up for the production of high-tech precision products, requires significant know-how and expertise from the blueprint stage. With its accumulated technology and competitiveness in this area, Hanyang ENG is planning to expand into related business areas, and participating in the 21st frontier project, in an effort to accumulate source technology in the environmental sector. Hanyang ENG will advance to the aerospace industry which is future intention, participating to also an atomic energy business segment it is an environment enterprise.
