Excel Gear is a custom fabricator of gearbox, gears, gearheads, high speed spindles and gimbal heads. Excel Gear also provides precision testing and analysis of gears to exceptionally close tolerances. Excel Gear recently designed and manufactured gearbox for Navy Warship Gun Systems. Each gear Box is 46 inc long, 36 inc diameter and weighs 3,740 lbs. The peak output torque capacity of the produced gearbox is 26,500 ft. lbs.
