DHP Korea has dealt with ophthalmic products since the establishment of SNP Pharmaceuticals, a wholesaler of pharmaceutical products, in 2002. The company developed preservative-free artificial tears in March 2004 through the work cooperation with LG Life Science and developed one-day eye dropper with obtaining of its patent in 2005.

The company changed the firm name to DHP Korea Co., Ltd. in 2005. DHP Korea prepared 3,000 pyeong of site in the Osong Life Science Complex and started the construction of a GMP factory that would meet the USA cGMP in April 2009. The company fulfilled the requirements of both USA cGMP and domestic cGMP to meet the Korea-USA FDA and EU FDA and intends to launch its business in the world's pharmaceutical markets.
