VALAS has established , within the QC and Technical Department, a Technical Section Which continually works at research and development.
This work concerns principally the development of still better new technologies for piston valves, as well as product improvements aimed at meeting the demands of an ever changing age.

First and foremost, the endeavors of our R&D staff concern that perennial problem facing all piston valve manufactures- the sealing tightness of the valve seat.
But that's not all. We also strive to make valve adjustment and maintenance still easier, thus leading to the development and improvement of piston valve which, though simple in construction, do not sacrifice performance. And that's how we produce valves which are sensitive to our customer's needs.
