Re: A-60 fire insulation tapes (self extinguishing) for Ship Building industry.

We have provided Hyundai, Dsme, and Sam sung shipyard companies in South Korea with certificated tapes over 10 years. We understand that workers in the shipyard consider good heavy duty quality tapes under massive workplaces.

We invented those tapes to prevent fire cautious areas and very powerful adhesive toward spiral air venting systems, Engine rooms, pipe lines, most of deck houses, and bottom shell plate wherever need to be protected heat or cold damages to spread over the ship. The DKGF001D, fire-retardant (self-extinguishing) adhesive is very strong, durable, reliable, and quickly installed as workers choose. It is also apparently water-resistant and heat-resistant

The Fire Insurers Laboratories of Korea approved (this test satisfied by IMO FTP Rules) V0 grade of Non Flammable adhesive, Report # 2006-0954. According to the UL testing, V0 grade is very recommendable adhesive which are located above or near units of high temperature, including boilers, steam pipes, exhaust manifolds, silencers or other equipment required to be insulated by SOLAS Regulation II-2 / 5.3.2 The fire-retardant adhesive (self adhesive) designed the layer for enhancing the safety standards. More than 10 years, we have not heard any complaints or claims from Korean major companies.
