Crescent Cotton Mills Limited, formerly Crescent Sugar Mills and Distillery Limited, is a Pakistan-based company engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sugar, distillate and yarn along with buying, selling and otherwise dealing in cloth. The Company also operates an embroidery unit. However, due to difficulties in the procurement of sugarcane at Government notified embroidery unit, the Company has suspended the operations of sugar and distillery units and has approved to dispose of their plant and machinery. With effect from May 2, 2012, the Company has changed its name to Crescent Cotton Mills Limited from Crescent Sugar Mills and Distillery Limited. Accordingly, its primary business has swifted to be manufacturing yarn.
