We are using our unique proprietary formula of enzyme and bacteria based substrate to achieve bio-degradation. We are the proud owner of the unique Bioplastics technology of "Enzyme based Chain-end-Biodegradation" as per EN 13432:2000 / ISO 14855 and ASTM D 6868-1996 standards with the lowest cost addition. We are the sole manufacturing company of BIOPLAST branded Biodegradable household products such as 100% biodegradable garbage bags and fridge / food bags for the household markets using our unique proprietary formula of enzyme and bacteria based substrate as against starch based as used by other manufacturers world over. We also manufacture 100% biodegradable carrier bags, shopping bags, chech-out bags, vegetable bags on roll, food bags, meat and food pouchers for the retail sector on contract basis using our unique proprietary formula of enzyme and bacteria base substrate. BIOPLAST is the only biodegradable technology in the world using enzyme and bacteria base substrate which is 100% biodegradable in landfills and in open environment within 180 days after disposal as per EN 13432:2000 / ISO 14855 and ASTM D 6868-1996 standards with the lowest cost addition. Our formulation of the Bacteria (food grade) Enzyme based substrate is absolutely unique and consists of several ingredients narrowed down to the enzyme, protein and bacteria compound drawn mainly from natural resources and medicinal plants to make this process methodology / technology non-hazardous and non-toxic and it can also be recycled. BIODEGRADABILITY is the ability to be utilized as a carbon source by Microorganisms and convert safely into carbon dioxide, biomass and water. Microbial attack is started where the carbonyl group is found. These functional groups are introduced in polyethylene during the thermal chain-end-bio-degradation process. For a material to be biodegradable, it is unimportant whether the feedstock is plant-based or petroleum-based. What matters is the structure of the molecules. Because BIOPLAST synthetic polymer has been engineered for outstanding biodegradability, microorganisms can easily digest it. We are using Nature to solve a Man made problem!
