Isfahan Foodstuffs Co. (PVT) with trade mark of AIDA (like the moon) was established on a plot of land with an area of 7000sqm opposite to Manarjonban Historical Monument in 1959.The old AIDA Factory with a history of about half century was the first reducible Industrial Factory producing various products including Tomato Paste, conserve, compote, jam, and pickles.This Factory was purchased in 1995 by the central union of Iran Rural & Agricultural Cooperatives, and with due regard to the fact that the production line of machinery was old, location of the Factory inside the city, being adjacent to tourism places, observing the environmental problems and necessity of execution the development plan, the Factory was disorganized.The new Factory was established with a capital of Rls100,000,000,000 (one hundred billion rials) on a land with an area of 70,000 m2 locating in Khomeinishahr Township in 1998, and began its activity with commercial name of International AIDA with presence of the Honorable Minister of Agricultural Jihad on 23.08.03 simultaneous with the anniversary of his Excellency Ali&＃39;s birth : This complex thanks to its equipped lab, full automatic Rossi & Catelli machinery, made in Italy, production and development saloons, warehouses, water supply system, sewage refinery technical installations, conference hall, amphitheater, administrative and welfare buildings is one the unparalleled foodstuff Industrial Factories of the country.Nominal capacity of this complex includes 100,000 tons of tomato and various kinds of fruits per year, and its personnel is 200 persons which has provided for a stable economy as well as creating a confident market for distribution of agricultural products of Isfahan Province and other province of the country.Development of relation between industry and university with agriculture towards utility and qualitative and quantitative promotion of products, approaching to international standards, and constant and effective
